Q2. What should I do after downloading the app?

After you successfully download the Yono app, you can explore/shop from our marketplace and other financial products and open digital savings account. Existing SBI customer can use their online SBI login credentials to directly register the app and login.

Q3. How do I log on to the Yono app/portal?

You can log on to the Yono app/portal with your online SBI login credentials or account details including ATM Card. On the mobile app, you can set up a 6-digit MPIN that can be used for login in future. In case you do not have both your online SBI login credentials and ATM card, please visit your SBI branch.

Q4. What is MPIN?

 MPIN is a 6 digit numeric code which is used to login into the app.

Linking SBI Card on YONO mobile App/ web Portal

Q1. How can I link my SBI Credit Card to YONO mobile App/ web Portal?

To link your SBI Credit Card on YONO, you need to have your mobile phone number that you have registered with SBI Card.

  • Step 1: Go to the Credit Card section of YONO and click on ‘Link SBI Credit Card’
  • Step 2: Enter the username & password you use to log on to sbicard
  • Step 3: Click on Send OTP and enter the OTP received on your registered mobile no.

You have successfully linked your SBI Credit Card(s) to the YONO.

Q2.I have forgotten my user ID or password for my SBI Card online account. What do I do now?

To reset your online account password, Click on 'Link SBI Credit Card' on 'My Relationships' page. You have links to register new and also to reset your id and password.

  • Step 1: Click on ‘Forgot User ID or Password’ below the login button. It will take you to SBI Cards website.
  • Step 2: Enter your Card number, CVV, Date of Birth, and ‘Generate OTP’
  • Step 3: Validate the OTP sent on your the registered mobile number
  • Step 4: Reset your password

Q3.I have an SBI Credit Card but I haven’t registered it online. How can I do that now?

If you do not have a user ID, Click on 'Link SBI Credit Card Link' on 'My Relationships' page. You have links to either register new or to reset id/password.

Click here to register in 4 simple steps:

  • Click on “Register”. It will redirect you to SBI Cards website.
  • Enter your SBI Card no., CVV no. & Date of Birth
  • Your One Time Password (OTP) will be sent on your registered mobile no. & e-mail id. This OTP is valid for 30 min. or one successful usage
  • Enter your OTP correctly to set your user id & password and complete the registration process

Q4. I have started the linking process but have not received the OTP yet?

Please ensure that your mobile number & e-mail id is correctly registered with SBI Card. If your details are updated, you may be facing some network issue on your mobile phone connection. Please click on ‘Re-send OTP’ link on the screen to have the OTP re-sent to you.

Updating your Information

Q1. My current mobile no. is different from the one registered for SBI Credit Card. How can I change it?

If your old registered mobile number is active, login to our website: sbicard.com and follow these steps:

  • Click on 'My Profile'
  • Click on 'Quick Contact’ then click on blue colored edit icon next to the right hand side of the mobile number
  • Generate OTP
  • Enter the OTP received on old registered number
  • Enter the new mobile number and click on ‘Submit’

If your old registered mobile number is Inactive, you can send the following documents:

  • Written & signed application for change in contact number, mentioning the 16 digit card number and the new mobile number.
  • Anyone of the following self-attested documents:
    • Residence Address proof as per SBI Card records
    • ID Proof

Please e-mail the above documents to contactchange@sbicard.com or courier/post them to SBI Cards & Payment Services Pvt Ltd, P.O. Bag No. 28, GPO, New Delhi- 110001.

Q2. How to change my registered mobile number with SBI credit cards?

If your old registered mobile number is active, login to website: sbicard.com and follow these steps:

  • Click on 'My Profile'

Q3. How can I change my Mailing/Non-Mailing Address?

You can change your Mailing/ Non-Mailing Address either through the website or by calling the SBI Card helpline.
To change address using the Website:-

  • Login to sbicard.com & click on ‘My Profile’ option
  • Click on Address and then Edit
  • Enter the One Time Password sent on your registered mobile no.
  • Click Submit and your address will be updated

To change address using the Mobile App:
Login to our SBI Card Mobile App, follow these steps:

  • Click on menu tab that is on the top left hand side of the app screen
  • Click on yellow colored edit icon just below your name & go to address option
  • Click on yellow colored edit icon next to the address and enter the new address
  • Generate OTP
  • Enter the OTP received on registered number and click on ‘Submit’

To change Address using the Helpline
Call the SBI Card Helpline number: 1860 180 1290 or 39 02 02 02 (prefix local STD Code) for any address change update.

* Please note the following:

  • Any change in the residence address requires a self–attested physical/scanned copy of the current address proof (Please click here for the list of KYC documents)
  • If proof of current residence address is not available, then please provide the below documents:-
  • Address Change Declaration Form/letter mentioning the current address. (Declaration form is updated on the SBI Card website)
  • Self-attested permanent address proof

Q4. How do I make my SBI Credit Card payment using YONO?

You can pay your SBI Card outstanding from your SBI transaction account on YONO using the following steps:

  • Step 1: Go to the Credit Card section of YONO and click on the card you wish to make payment for
  • Step 2: On 'My Relationships' page, click on 'Pay now'
  • Step 3: Select the SBI account you wish to make the payment from
  • Step 4: Select the amount you wish to make the payment for. You can pay the entire outstanding amount, the minimum amount due or any other amount you wish to pay
  • Step 5: Click on 'Pay now'

Lost/Stolen Cards

Q1. I have lost my Credit Card, what steps do I need to take?

In case of a lost or stolen card, you need to report it to SBI Card at the earliest. This can be done either through YONO mobile App/web Portal, SMS, SBI Card Website or IVR:
You need to go to the credit cards section of YONO mobile App/ web Portal. In the card summary page you have options of services. Choose block lost or stolen card. Choose the credit card to block and you may opt to reissue by clicking on reissue tab.

In case you remember your card number, you can block your card by sending an SMS from your registered mobile number in the below format:

BLOCK to 5676791.

You will receive a block confirmation via SMS. In case you do not receive a block confirmation, please call the SBI Card helpline 1860 180 1290 or 39 02 02 02 (prefix local STD Code).

To report Lost/Stolen credit card on Website: Log onto sbicard.com and follow these steps:

  • Click on Login button and enter your username and password to log into your account
  • Click on the ‘Report Lost/Stolen Card’ under the ‘Requests’ tab present on the left hand side menu
  • Select the card number to report the lost card
  • If you want to get the card re-issued, click ‘Submit’

    To report Lost/Stolen credit card through IVR:

    • Call on the SBI Card helpline 1860 180 1290 or 39 02 02 02 (prefix local STD Code) & select your preferred language.
    • Press 2 to report lost/stolen card

Transaction Disputes

Q1. How can I raise a transaction dispute?

To raise a transaction dispute, you can call SBI Card helpline 1860 180 1290 or 39 02 02 02 (Prefix local STD Code) or email us at chargeback@sbicard.com

Q2. What is the time frame to report Credit Card Transaction Dispute?

Transaction dispute needs to be reported in writing within 70 days from the statement date in which the said transaction appears.

Card Usage

Q1. What are the Fees applicable on my Credit Card?

Q2. How do I change transaction PIN for Credit Card?

You can generate transaction PIN for your credit card by going to SBI cards section of YONO mobile App/ web Portal.
To generate transaction PIN, login to your online account and click on 'My Credit cards’ tab and follow these steps:

  • Click ‘Change Pin’
  • Select the card for which pin needs to be changed
  • Click on ‘Generate OTP’
  • Enter the OTP
  • Enter the New PIN twice, and click submit

To generate transaction PIN through IVR:
Call on SBI Card Customer Helpline number: 1860 180 1290 or 39 02 02 02 (Prefix local STD Code)

  • Step 1. Choose option ‘6’ to generate PIN
  • Step 2. Enter the 16 digit SBI card number, DOB in DD MM YYYY & Card expiry date in MM YY format
  • Step 3. Enter the 6 digit OTP received on your registered mobile number or email address
  • Step 4. Choose a 4 digit PIN number and re-confirm
  • Step 5. You will get a confirmation message on the IVR itself

Q3. What is the process of applying for an SBI Card?

You can visit SBI Credit Cards page on YONO mobile App/ web Portal and you have three options for you to take you to apply journey. You can either accept the recommended card that is specifically recommended to you based on your spend pattern. You may use our simplifier to help you choose a card or straight away pick a card from the list of cards using 'browse cards'. When you decide on a card, you may apply for the card.

Q4. How can I find out which SBI Card I am eligible for?

Visit the ‘Help me find the perfect card’ section on YONO mobile App/ web Portal to find out which SBI Card will be best suited for you. The recommendation is based on your needs and spending patterns.

Q5. I could not find my town or city name in the city dropdown menu in the online form. How can I apply?

SBI Card serves in select locations across India through its online application service. If you do not see your city in the dropdown, please call SBI Card helpline at 39 02 02 02 (please prefix the STD code of your city) or visit your nearest SBI branch.

Q6. What is the process of earning Reward Points on a card? How many points do I earn per transaction?

The number of reward points earned per transaction depend on the type of card you own. To know the Reward Point offered by different cards, please visit the Rewards section of our sbicard.com website.

Q7. How can I check the reward point balance?

Once you link your card, you may visit the Credit Card section of the YONO mobile App/ web Portal for details of the reward points available on your card.

Q8. How can I redeem the reward points on my card?

There is a link available in the rewards section of Credit Cards section . Log on to YONO mobile App/ web Portal and visit the Reward section. You can choose amongst hundreds of products from our Reward Catalogue to redeem the reward points available on your card.

Q9. Can I add the reward points I have on multiple cards or transfer them from one card account to another?

No, you cannot add or transfer your Reward Points from one SBI Card to another. Reward points can be redeemed only on SBI Card on which they have been earned.

Q10. Do the Reward Points accrued on my card expire?

Yes, you can accumulate your points only for a period of 24 months from the date of the accrual under the Shop & Smile Rewards Program. Any points not redeemed by the end of the stipulated 24 months from the date of accrual will lapse. You can know the number of Reward Points that are expiring in a particular month by logging on to YONO mobile App/ web Portal. This information is also mentioned in your monthly statement.

Q11. Can I redeem my reward points once my SBI Card is closed?

No, you cannot redeem your reward points after the closure of your card account.

Delinking

Q1. Can I delink my cards from YONO mobile App/ web Portal?

If you have your cards linked in the YONO mobile App/web Portal, you can see a link 'Delink SBI Credit Card'. Clicking on this button will prompt the customer that all credit card related information will be delinked from the system. Once he agrees the cards will be delinked from the YONO mobile App/ web Portal. Once delinked, he can link again if needed.

Re-Issue

Q1. Can I reissue my card through the mobile App/ web Portal if I have not blocked the card through YONO mobile App/ web Portal?

No. If you block a card in YONO mobile App/ web Portal, you can reissue in the app/Portal. If the card is not blocked in YONO mobile App/ web Portal, the customer may try to have his card reissued from SBI Cards website.

Payment

Q1. I have made payment towards my card outstanding through YONO mobile App/ web Portal but on 'My Relationships' it is still showing my billed amount.

The payment made is reflected in your Card summary page when you click on the card number on 'My Relationships' page under 'My Credit Cards' section. The Total outstanding will be reduced to the extent payment is made. The available balance also increases accordingly.

Q2. What is Total outstanding? Why do I see amount in Total outstanding even after I paid the billed amount on YONO mobile App/ web Portal?

The Total outstanding is the total amount of billed and unbilled transactions. Billed amount constitutes of the payable amount as on latest statement date. Unbilled transactions are the transaction since the latest billing which constitutes the unbilled outstanding.

Q3. Why am I not able to view the payment made in the transaction history just after my payment is done on YONO mobile App/ web Portal? How much time does it take to reflect in transaction history on YONO mobile App/ web Portal?

The payment made and other unbilled transactions on YONO mobile App/ web Portal will appear in the transaction history post settlement of the file and this process takes from 2 to 5 days.

Q4. I made a payment on YONO mobile App/ web Portal, however my outstanding has not decreased and available amount has not increased.

In an unforeseen case of this event occurring, please check your debit account if the amount has been debited. Please note down the reference number from the narration. The transaction will automatically be posted in the next 24-48 hours and a confirmation from SBI Cards team is sent through SMS on mobile number which you have registered with SBI Cards.

Q5. I made a transaction through SBI Card on YONO mobile App/ web portal but I can’t find the transaction in the transaction history.

All transactions are visible in the transaction history post settlement. So unbilled transactions take 24-48 hours to appear in the transaction history. The outstanding of unbilled however updates instantly and may be verified.
