Fees and Charges

  • A flat rate of interest as per existing offer is applicable
  • A one-time processing fee of 2%, up to a minimum of Rs. 499 and a maximum of Rs. 3,000 will be levied
  • In case of foreclosure of your Encash booking, a 3% foreclosure fee on the outstanding principal amount will be charged

Q 1. What is Encash?

Encash is a pre-approved, money- on- demand facility, which is offered to a select set of SBI credit cardholders. The Encash amount that a cardholder would be eligible for can be over and above the existing credit limit or within the existing credit limit on the card. The mode of disbursement of the funds is through a payable-at-par cheque.

All cardholders are not eligible for this facility.

Q 2. How can I book Encash?

You can request for Encash instantly, choosing either of these simple ways-

  • Log on to sbicard.com using your SBI Card Online user ID and password
    • If you are eligible for Encash, you will see an  "Encash" link under the Benefits section on the left hand navigation
    • Click on the link and enter the amount you wish to book Encash for, select the tenure and rate of interest and confirm the booking
  • Call the SBI Card helpline to check if you are eligible for Encash and book it
    • 39 02 02 02 (prefix local STD code)
    • 1860 180 1290 or 1800 180 1290 (for BSNL/MTNL lines)

Your request for Encash will be processed within 3 working days for Metro locations and 5 working days for all other locations. We will also send you a confirmation SMS on your registered mobile number.
