Introducing ‘SBI Card Pay’ that allows you to make payments simply with your smartphone. You don’t have to carry your SBI Credit Card anymore, just tap your android smartphone on NFC enabled POS machine to make faster & secure payments of up to Rs. 5000.

You would need the following to make a payment using SBI Card Pay feature:
SBI Card Pay uses the NFC technology to make a contactless payment that is carried out by using a smartphone at NFC enabled Point of Sale (POS) machines. You can transact up to Rs. 25,000 in a day (max. capping of up to Rs. 5,000 per transaction). For transactions above Rs. 5000, card PIN needs to be entered for completing the payment.
Near Field Communication or NFC is a method of wirelessly transmitting data using radio waves. Tap to Pay uses NFC to wirelessly transmit payment data to payment terminals with NFC readers that have been activated for use. The payment information is transmitted in an encrypted format making the transaction completely secure.
You can follow the below steps to register your SBI Credit Card on the SBI Card Pay feature:
On successful registration, you will receive an SMS on your registered mobile number.

You can also make payments without opening the SBI Card App. Just unlock the mobile device and tap on the NFC enabled merchant’s POS machine to make the payment.
You can follow the below steps to de-link your SBI Card from the SBI Card Pay feature:
You will receive an SMS on your registered mobile number on successful de-linking of your SBI Credit Card from the Tap to Pay feature.
