Complimentary Priority Pass Membership

  • Q1. Who can apply for Priority Pass membership?

  • Only the Primary Cardholders of the following products are eligible for Priority Pass membership:

  • Q2. When can I apply? Can I apply for the membership multiple times?

  • You can apply for Priority Pass membership anytime during the validity of your credit card. Priority Pass membership worth USD99 is given complimentary only once and it is valid for 2 years.

    In case of lost /damaged Priority Pass card, you can apply for re-issuance. In case of re-issuance, the validity of the membership will remain the same as your first membership. 

  • Q3. How can I apply for Priority Pass membership?

  • You can apply for Priority Pass membership through our Customer Helpline Numbers: 39020202 (Prefix Local STD code) or 1860 180 1290.

  • Q4. After enrollment, when will I receive my Priority Pass?

  • Priority Pass will be delivered to your billing address within 10 days of receipt of request.

  • Q5. What is the validity of my Priority Pass membership?

  • It is valid for 24 months from the date of issue of priority pass membership.

  • Q6. What are the charges for Priority Pass memberships /visits?

    For all other products: all visits are chargeable.

  • Q7. Are Complimentary visits applicable for Priority Pass Lounges within India?

  • No. Complimentary visits are applicable only for International lounges i.e. lounge under Priority Pass Program outside India. Complimentary visits are not applicable for Domestic and International lounges within India.

  • Q8. Is there a Membership fee?

  • Membership worth USD 99 to the Priority Pass program is complimentary.

  • Q9. Do I have to present the Priority Pass for Lounge access?

  • Yes. Lounge access is conditional upon presentation of a valid Priority Pass only and any SBI Card would not be accepted on behalf of Priority Pass card.

  • Q10. Do I have to hold a flight ticket for access to the Priority Pass Lounge

  • Lounge access is subject to the Cardholder holding a valid ticket of travel on the same day in an airline flying out of the airport in which the lounge is present.

  • Q11. Will the exchange rate application on charges be same as the date of usage of Priority Pass?

  • Exchange rate applied to the charge would be the Exchange rate applicable on the day of the debit to the cardholder’s card account and not as on date of usage of the Priority Pass.

  • Q12. Will I retain Priority Pass membership if I cancel or fail to renew my SBI Card account?

  • In case the existing Credit Card is re-issued due to any reasons like renewal, upgrade, downgrade, change of network, etc., the existing Priority Pass Membership will get deactivated. Cardholders are required to apply for a fresh priority pass.

  • Q13. Can I use the Priority Pass as a proof of credit worthiness?

  • The Priority Pass Card is not a payment card or a proof of credit worthiness of the Cardholder and attempts to use the same are not permitted.

  • Q14. Can I get another Priority Pass if I have lost it or if it is damaged or stolen?

  • Yes. Lost/Stolen and damaged Priority Pass plastics need to be intimated to SBI Card for a fresh card to be issued. You can request another Priority pass through our Customer Helpline Numbers: 39020202 (Prefix Local STD code) or 1860 180 1290
