A credit card account is deemed to have been transferred when the account, along with the card outstanding dues under the Primary Credit Card and Add-on Card(s), if any, is transferred / assigned by SBI Card to a third party / assignee.
The customer’s obligation to pay SBI Card, all outstanding amounts with respect to his / her Credit Card account, is transferred to a third party, who can initiate all measures applicable under the law for recovery of amounts outstanding under the transferred credit card account.
Account transfer / assignment is permissible as per applicable laws and communication in this regard has already been sent to your mailing address / registered e-mail ID as available in our records

Yes, SBI Card will stop reporting and updating the status of your credit card account. Further, your account status has been reported as ‘Account Sold’ in bureau records. Henceforth, the third party, to whom your credit card account has been transferred / assigned, will report the account status of your account to Bureau.
