Arogya Plus

Arogya Plus is a health insurance plan which provides coverage on Indemnity basis up to specified sum insured at a flat premium.
Flat premium is irrespective of age of insured and family combination.

• The minimum entry age for Arogya Plus is 3 months.
• The maximum entry age for Arogya Plus is 65 years.

Arogya Plus is available on Individual basis, Family Non-floater and Family Floater sum insured basis.

For Family Non-floater policy: Family means Self, Spouse, dependent children, Parents and Parents in law.
For Family Floater policy: Family means Self, Spouse and maximum two children.

The Sum insured options available under Arogya Plus are Rs. 1 Lakh, Rs. 2 Lakh and Rs. 3 Lakhs.

The Policy tenure available under Arogya Plus is 1 year, 2 years and 3 years.

Yes, prehospitalization expenses are covered 60 days prior to hospitalization and, post hospitalization expenses are covered up to 90 days post discharge from hospital.

Yes, Pre-policy medical tests are applicable for insureds whose age is >55 years of age. Where the proposed insured person(s) is/are suffering from an existing medical condition

Yes, below waiting periods will be applicable in Arogya Plus policy.

• Initial waiting period: 30 days for all illnesses (not applicable on renewal or for accidents)
• Listed specific illnesses - One year and 90 days.
• Pre-existing diseases: 48 months

The below sub-limits are applicable under Arogya Plus policy:

• Listed conditions under Mental illness are restricted to Sum insured Rs. 50,000.
• Internal congenital diseases covered up to 10% of Sum insured.
• Listed 12 Advance treatment procedures covered up to 50% of Sum insured.
• Genetic Disorders covered up to Rs. 50,000.

The policy can be renewed lifelong subject to terms and conditions

Yes, premium paid for Arogya Plus is available for tax rebate under Sec. 80D of the Income Tax Act.

Yes, below discount are available in Arogya Plus policy:

• 5% is available for coverage of 2 members in a single policy on Non-floater basis
• 7.5% is available for coverage of more than 2 member in a single policy on Non- floater basis.

Yes, below discount are available in Arogya Plus policy on long term basis:

• For 2 years policy: 5% discount
• For 3 years policy term: 7.5% discount

Treatment taken under Ayurveda, Unani, Siddha and Homeopathy system of medicine in the Indian context is covered under Alternative treatment provided the same is availed at a government hospital or in any institute recognized by government and/or accredited by quality council of India/national accreditation board on health.
