  • How to Apply
    • Fill in the SBI Advantage Plus Credit Card application form as well as the SBI Fixed Deposit form
    • Sign the lien authorization letter and Auto Debit mandate (as per the SBI Card specified format)
    • Attach the self-attested KYC documents as per RBI guidelines
    • Submit the form to the designated branch
    • The SBI Advantage Plus Card will be issued to you
    • After you pay annual fee and the joining fee as charged in the first bill, an Encash facility will be extended to you for Rs. 25,000 or Rs. 50,000 and the transfer the funds to SBI
    • A fixed deposit (FD) will be opened in your name for the amount fixed for Encash facility
    • The FD will have a lien in favor of SBI Cards
    • Monthly EMIs will be billed for 11 months for the following amount:
      • For an Encash amount of Rs. 25,000 –EMI for Rs. 2,500 EMI
      • For an Encash amount of Rs. 50,000 –EMI for Rs. 5,000 EMI
    • You will continue to earn interest on your FD for 555 days at the rate of 9.25% or as per the current applicable SBI FD rate of interest
    • Your credit limit will open as per the chart given below

      • Interest free credit period: 20-50 days, applicable only for retail purchases, if previous months outstanding balance is paid in full
      • Finance charges: Up to 2.25% per month or 27% per annum, from the transaction date
      • Minimum amount due: 5% of total outstanding, counting for minimum of Rs. 200 + GST + EMI, in case of loans
  • Cash Advance
      • Cash advance limit: Up to 80% of credit limit, maximum of Rs. 15,000 per day
      • Free credit period: Nil
      • Finance charges# : Up to 2.25% per month or 27% per annum, from the transaction date
  • Cash Advance Fees
      • SBI ATMs /Other Domestic ATMs :  2.5% of withdrawal amount or Rs. 300, whichever is higher, per transaction
      • International ATMs: 3% of withdrawal amount or Rs. 300, whichever is higher, per transaction

  • Other Charges
      • Cheque pickup: Rs. 90
      • Cheque bounce or invalid cheque:  2% of cheque dishonor amount counting for minimum of Rs. 350 and maximum of Rs. 500
      • Statement retrieval: Rs. 100 per statement, which is more than 2 months
      • Charge slip retrieval: Rs. 225 per charge slip
      • Late payment:
        • Nil for total amount due from Rs. 0 to Rs. 200
        • Rs. 100 for total amount due greater than Rs. 200 and up to Rs. 500
        • Rs. 200 for total amount due greater than Rs. 500 and up to Rs. 1,000
        • Rs. 500 for total amount due greater than Rs. 1,000 and up to Rs. 10,000
        • Rs. 750 for total amount due greater than Rs. 10,000
      • Card replacement: Rs. 100
      • Emergency card Replacement, when abroad: Actual cost, with a minimum charge of $175
      • Foreign currency transaction: Conversion mark up: 3.5%
      • Cash OTC fees: Rs. 100
  • Surcharge
      • Railway tickets: Railway counters - Rs. 30 + 2.5% of transaction amount
      • Railway tickets: - 1.8% of transaction amount + service charge, as applicable
      • Customs duty: 2.25% of transaction amount (minimum of Rs. 75)
      • Petrol and all products or services sold at petrol pumps: 2.5% of the transaction amount (minimum of Rs. 10)
  • Order of Payment Settlement
      • Order of payment Settlement- Minimum amount due (which is inclusive of GST + EMI on loan plans + 5% of total outstanding) , followed by fees and other charges, interest charges, balance transfer outstanding, retail outstanding and cash advance

      # Card finance charge is dynamic and will be based on the cardholder’s usage and payment patterns. It is subject to periodic review.

      *Nil on Cash advance.
      **Insurance is optional and a subject matter of solicitation.

  • Things to know
      • Cheques payable outside clearing the zones are not accepted. We accept payment through local cheques or drafts payable in Delhi only.
      • Service tax, as applicable on all above fee, interest and charges.
