  • WhatsApp Connect is SBI Card’s WhatsApp service, through which Customers can get important updates regarding their SBI Card account on WhatsApp, provided they have subscribed to WhatsApp Connect.

  • Q 2. I want to opt-in for Whatsapp”, How can customer subscribe for SBI Card’s WhatsApp Connect?

  • Customer can subscribe to SBI Card’s WhatsApp service by following any of the below ways:

    • Give a missed call at 08080945040 from your registered mobile number
    • SBI Card Mobile App: Login to Mobile App, go to the main menu and select ‘WhatsApp Connect’ to subscribe to our WhatsApp service.
    • SBI Card Website: Click here, to login and subscribe our WhatsApp service.
    • Ask ILA: Click here, to login and subscribe our WhatsApp service.
    • SMS: SMS WAOPTIN XXXX to 5676791, where XXXX is the last 4 digits of your card number.
  • Q 3. From which number will a customer receive alerts on WhatsApp?

  • Customer will receive alert on WhatsApp through the number - 9004022022

  • Q 4. How can a customer opt-out from WhatsApp Service?

  • Customer can opt-out by following any of the below steps:

    • SBI Card Website: Click here, login and unsubscribe.
    • SMS: SMS WAOPTOUT XXXX to 5676791, where XXXX is the last 4 digits of your card number.
  • Q 5. Can one subscribe for SBI Card’s WhatsApp Service, even if he/she is not an SBI credit Cardholder?

  • Presently, SBI Card’s WhatsApp service is only available for SBI Credit Cardholders

  • Q 6. If one unsubscribes from SBI Card’s WhatsApp Service, can he/she subscribe again?

  • Yes, one can subscribe again to the WhatsApp Service by initiating an opt-in request

  • Q 7. Are there any charges for the WhatsApp Service?

  • There are no additional charges applied for using this service
