  1. How to generate/reset PIN?

Click on “Generate or reset PIN” link and   Key in your card details and date of birth

  2. What is an EMV Chip and PIN card?
  EMV chip is a global standard on safety and security for payment cards. This protects customers against skimming and counterfeit frauds through an embedded smart chip.
Additionally PIN (Personal Identification Number) provides an additional layer of authentication and security to your card transactions. Your PIN is unique to you and should not be shared with any one.
  3. How do I use the Chip and PIN card?
  You can use your EMV CHIP and PIN card in 3 simple steps.
 
  Note: If the merchant does not yet have a chip or PIN accepting terminal, your card will be swiped and you will sign the receipt as you do today.
  4. How does Chip and PIN credit card work for transactions made online or over the telephone?
  Transactions made online or over the telephone with your Chip and PIN credit card should be conducted the same way as with your current card. This may include using the three-digit verification code on the back of the card or by using a Verified by VisaŽ or MasterCard SecureCodeŽ password.
  5. What will happen to my current credit card?
  Your old card will be deactivated after 120 days or within 24 hours of the first use on your new card. Please destroy your old card immediately by cutting it into 4 pieces.
  6. What will happen if I forget my PIN?
  You can instantly reset your PIN by following the steps illustrated in point 1. You may call SBI cards helpline on 39 02 02 02 or 1800 180 1290 and request for re-dispatch of your PIN.
